The Queen Anne's County office of the Maryland Cooperative Extension offers University of Maryland educational programs to the residents of the county. Cooperative Extension is an unique educational organization involving a partnership between federal, state, and county governments designed to "educate people to help themselves." Queen Anne's County faculty strives to stimulate a positive learning change educating audiences in four critical areas: Agriculture & Natural Resources, Family & Consumer Science, 4-H & Youth Development programs and Home Horticulture including the Master Gardeners programs. Unbiased research information is delivered to county residents through workshops, seminars, clinics, classes, newsletters and media efforts.
